Do we have to say Ameen whenever we hear Surah Fatiha or is it only limited to Salat?

Salah will be valid even if the thoughts are intentional, however, this will result in reduction of thawab and if the thoughts came unintentionally and you tried to thwart them you will get thawab for your efforts.
A hadith in Muslim says:

the reason im asking is because i keep being attacked by some sisters telling me i pray wrong and should pray the same as the men please help

As a hanafi scholar i can say that your prayer is correct.
If you want to see the evidences, There is a small booklet published by Altaf & sons by the name “the salah of a woman” It gives great details about the differences between the salah of male and female and can be purchased from the islamic bookshop in Bolton.
