Q563: Missed Qurbani
Alhamdulillah, i did Hajj Tamattu this year and did the Qurbani for the Hajj over there. However, ive been told that i have to do another qurbani once i returned, which is liable upon me they say. Is this true? If so, could you please explain the difference.
For your information, alhamdulillah i work full time and i pay my zakah.

Answer:
The Eid ul-Adha Qurbani is not wajib upon a Musafir. You were a musafir at the time so it was not wajib on you, so you don’t have to do any Qaza for it. It was Nafl for you. If you would have done it at the time you would have got Sawaab.
