‘Quran is Enough’

“Isn’t the Quran, which we have revealed to you which is recited upon them, enough for them.”
Musa AS once asked Allah,

Grant me the ability to see you. Allah said, O Musa you can’t see me but if the mountain stays intact look there, you will see my glory, manifestation.

When Allah showed his glory, the mountain was shattered to pieces due to which Musa AS fainted. After gaining consciousness, Musa AS said, O Allah I repent to you for my mistake (of asking to see you). Allah then said,

“O Musa! I’ve chosen you over others by giving you my book (Tawrah) and by giving you the ability to speak to me, take what I gave you and be amongst the grateful.”
Allah said this to Musa AS regarding the Tawrah, shouldn’t that be same for us with regards to the Quran. Shouldn’t the Quran be enough for us. What ever problems we face; mentally, physically, spiritually the Quran is the solution.

The Quran came out from Your Lord.

The Quran is a cure for the hearts.

The Quran gives peace to the soul and mind.

The Quran is an advice to listen.

The Quran is a guidance.

The Quran is a mercy.

The Quran is the Fadl (bounty) of Allah.

The Quran is better than the wealth we gather.

The Quran is a Noor.

The Quran will be your companion in the grave, hereafter.

The Quran will be an witness for you.
Once a Sahabi was reciting Quran and his horse which was nearby, started to gallop. When he would stop the horse would stop. In the morning he asked Rasulullah Upon which he replied, this was the mercy of Allah on the form of Angels because you were reciting the Quran. By Allah! If you were to continue to recite till morning the people would have began their morning seeing the angels with their own eyes.”
Saeed Ibn Khudri RA recited Sura Fatiha seven times on a sick person and did Dam and the man was cured.
A man took an oath saying, “If my daughter gets a proposal I will give her the most expensive thing in the world”. After sometime when someone sent a proposal, it was time to fulfil the oath. He went to all the great Ulama who in return said you have to give her what you said or Kaffarah. He was a poor man, he didn’t understand what to do. At last he went to Imam Shafiee RA who said, “O my brother! Postpone the wedding for 1-2 years, teach your daughter Quran and when it’s time to bid her farewell give her a copy of the Quran because their is no wealth equivalent to the Quran.”

Allah says,
Rasulullah صلي الله عليه و سلم said the Quran is حبل الله المتين the strong rope of Allah, whosoever holds on to it will reach Allah. Which means recite, understand and act upon the Quran, it’s better than materialistic things.
Allah says in Sura Ankaboot,

“Isn’t the Quran, which we have revealed to you which is recited upon them, enough for them.”
Just a small Sura like Ikhlas which is equivalent to one third of the Quran, the non-believers who were affiliated with the eloquence of Arabic, couldn’t present nothing similar.

Allah says in Sura Bani Israeel,

“Say! If the whole humanity, Jinn and mankind were to get together to bring something similar to the Quran they could never ever do so even though if they help each other.”
Hazrat Uthman RA said,

If your hearts were clean, you would never feel satiated from recitation of the Quran.
May Allah grant us the love of His book. Ameen.
PRESERVING THE SHARPNESS OF THE MIND-

Allama Ibn Taymiyya RA said,

“I have never come across anything which nourishes the mind and soul, preserves the body and guarantees one’s happiness like that of perpetual looking into the Qur’an.”
