Q812: Does taste of swallowing break Salah?

Question: If your mouth is empty and in Salah you can taste something of flavour of what you eat before Salaah, does this invalidate Salah?

—————– ————– ———————-

Answer:

If you ate something and swallowed it before commencing Salah, and during Salah you feel the taste in your mouth and swallow it, this will not break your Salah.

    AssalamuA’laikum,
    I have a question regarding a mas’ala.
When I was in secondary school; for the period of 2 years I was masah of khuffain wrong. I have have roughly calculated 134 salah, I have completed 85, I was wondering just in case I don’t finish if I can give kafarah and compete, or is it if I give kafarah, it will not be jaa’iz to complete the rest.
JazakAllah for your invaluable time and khidmah to the umma.
    Salam

You’ve done mare than half so do the remaining as well
May Allah make it easy for you

No point in giving kaffarah when you have the ability to do Qaza
